Solid quality wood construction. Ready for some bees!!!

Realized our recently caught swarm no longer had a queen so we rushed down to FH to get a queen. Luckily they were still in stock with the Varroa Sensitive Hygiene queens from California. The queen was naturally released from the cage within two days and was already laying when inspected.
Staff was super helpful and respectful! Was also my first visit to the store.

The telescoping covers are so well made. High quality as I’m finding all of Foxhound products to be. They fit nice on the boxes and I’m happy with them.

I bought two medium 8 frame hive kits to get my beekeeping journey started for my nature preschool. They were so easy to put together and paint. I gave them a layer of primer and then two coats of paint and they look great. I feel good about them being made of cypress because of the longevity of this kind of wood. The company as been great to work with and they have become my “go to” for all things bees. My nature preschool kids even helped with the process.

This is my first bee suit so I don’t have anything to compare it too, but it is the bomb. FIRST OFF, it’s so cool looking. Second, the breeze just went through it when I was working at my hives this morning. I actually had to do some ground work outside the hive and it kept me nice and cool, not to mention the padded knees as I was on the ground malleting landscape items into the ground. Bees weren’t happy, but I was snug as a bug, without worry.

We purchased a small Beekeeping Suit and gloves for our 5-year-old granddaughter, and she loved it! So glad you carry her size!

As a soon to be beekeeper, I am excited to start my bees in the Hive IQ hives. This kit gives me a variety of options for managing my bees and helping them through their first winter and into their first true nectar flow. Since I like my house to be insulated both summer and winter, it seems sensible that this would be beneficial to the bees also.

The kit came with clear and easy to understand construction instructions. No "picture only" instructions here and helpful hints were included. The pricing structure of the kit was also helpful to the beginning beekeeper.

I put up a Swarm Trap after my daughter mentioned seeing bees around her house. I put up the trap and gave it a squirt in the entrance hole and across the front. Bees started checking it out while I was there. I even had a couple land on my hand from some residual spray that must have landed on it. The next day she said she heard the "freight train" and saw a cloud of bees move into their new abode.

I wanted to show a bivouacked swarm on the swarm trap...on which i used Swarm Commander as an attractant.

Easy to put on and take off. I am long wasted and this suit doesn't allow bees in my shirt when I bend over.

I bought this Stingstopper ventilated suit to replace my old cotton suit, which had no ventilation and was very hot (summers in Texas get hot)! Now I can feel a breeze when I wear shorts, and I really like that I can open the front of my veil when needed. I am 6'1, 195 lbs - and a 2x fit perfect!

These medium boxes are perfect. I'm loving the whole HiveIQ setup.

These hive supers are strong and the best kind we’ve ever had. We love the black wax on the frames- easier to see eggs and larvae. We won’t buy anywhere else.
