This round push-in queen marking cage is one of our favorite tools in the bee yard! Place the cage over the queen, gently push the cage into the comb, mark her thorax, and release the queen.
This type of queen marking cage is different than the tubes as the queen doesn't need to be removed from the hive. She can be marked directly on the comb without having to handle her.
The press in queen cage is well built, but retail price from the manufacturer turns out to be 1.50 and FHBC charges 9.00 for one. My fault as I did not ask what the price was before I threw it in my cart.
