Civan Electric 9 Frame Honey Extractor 3t and 6r / 6r

This 9-frame electric honey extractor has been our workhorse honey extractor for a long time. This size is excellent for a brand new beekeeper to have as they grow their apiary. The small diameter drum allows the beekeeper to hold 3 deep frames tangentially or 3 medium or shallow, or deep frames tangentially plus 6 shallow or medium frames radially. This extractor will spin 9 medium or shallow frames at the same time.

The 9-frame electric honey extractor has a two-year warranty on the motorized honey extractor as a whole. It also has a 21-gauge, 304 stainless steel drum, a metal basket, a free-spinning motor, and a multi-directional top-mounted motor.

The separate metal-cased control box comes pre-assembled on the top of the extractor with waterproof connectors. The control box has a reverse and forward switch, and a 0-10 multi-speed control dial and can control the speed from 0-345 revolutions per minute.

You won't find any nylon or plastic parts on the drum or inside the basket that can become brittle and break over time. You'll have this extractor until you outgrow it, and it scales very well from the beginner to the serious hobby beekeeper. The basket can spin both ways by hand to make adding and removing bee frames easier. The frame basket holds each frame securely in place with no wobble.

A feature that is difficult to notice online is the thickness of the metal and the overall weight of the extractor. A heavy, well-designed, and balanced extractor like this will be much easier to use than the cheaper, thin-walled extractors sold in other places.

The cheap extractors (like Vivo) will wobble and shake out the door because they are light. With its thick stainless steel and powder-coated metal, we assure you that this extractor will be a much better experience for the beekeeper during their honey harvesting party.

This extractor is designed to be both a tangential and radial extractor. The basket will securely hold 6 medium or shallow frames radially and 3 medium or shallow frames tangentially. Or it can extract 3 deep frames tangentially when needed.

At the bottom of the drum is a stainless steel honey gate with an o-ring and thumb screw for allowing liquid honey out of the drum.

Other features include a plexiglass top for watching the extraction process, heavy-duty powder-coated legs, no tools required for assembly, a standard 6 ft. 110 power cord, and an easy-to-clean finish.

The legs extend from the ground with a broad base that can be mounted to the ground or a platform to the top of the extractor for minimal wobbling while extracting.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. The order will also need to have been placed through our retail store or through www.foxhoundbeecompany.com

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 7 days if the item is defective or damaged or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, clearance items, food, or gift cards.

Exchanges

For exchanges, we are happy to receive products back in new, unused condition, and we can exchange them. Products are inspected upon return prior to shipping out the exchanged item. Products received in new condition and exchanged for store credit or another item are not charged the 3% restocking fee. 

For returns, it is always helpful to leave a short note with the return for staff so they can easily follow up on where the return came from, the product you want to exchange it for, or the reason for the return.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded using your original payment method. Please remember that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund, too.

When a return is issued, it is subject to a 3% restocking fee based on the credit card fees charged to us during the initial payment. We charge this fee and do not refund it when we issue customer refunds. This 3% restocking fee covers the credit card expense. The restocking fee is charged to all returns unless the return is due to an error by us. 

You can avoid the restocking fee by getting a refund in the form of store credit. 

Unauthorized returns or products returned used or in an unsellable condition can either be sent back at the customer's expense, accepted with a restocking fee up to 90% at our discretion, or disposed of. 

European Union 14-day cooling off period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
