Detailed Description

A queen excluder is placed between the brood box and honey supers to prevent the queen from laying eggs in the honey harvest area. The wire grid openings are sized to allow worker bees to pass freely while preventing the larger queen from moving upward.

This model features a wooden outer frame for strength and easier placement within the hive. The wire mesh is positioned to provide space on either side, allowing bees to move comfortably through the excluder without it sitting flush against the top bars.
