Detailed Description

The Frame Wiring Jig is designed to assist with adding horizontal wire supports to wooden frames used with 100% beeswax foundation. Traditional frame wiring methods can be time-consuming and difficult to keep consistent. This jig helps guide wire placement while maintaining tension throughout the process.

The jig routes horizontal wires through the pre-drilled holes in the end bars of a frame. It holds a spool of wire and dispenses it as the wire is pulled through the frame. As the wire passes through the jig and around the guide wheels, the spool releases wire smoothly and evenly.

Once the wire has been run through the frame and fastened, it can be released from the guide wheels and pulled tight. Each jig includes a tensioner that presses against the side bar of the frame to help maintain wire tension during installation. After fastening the wire, releasing the tensioner allows the wire to tighten further.

This tool supports consistent wire spacing and tension, which are important when installing beeswax foundation that will later be embedded into the wire.
